And there’s also [Microhorror](http://www.microhorror.com/microhorror/), the site of horror stories with less than 666 words. As with all user-submitted-content sites, the quality of the stories on both sites varies greatly. (My personal favorite SCP item, incidentally, is [SCP-682](http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-682), mostly for the [log of attempts to kill it](http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/experiment-log-t-98816-oc108-682).) ---

The 99 rooms site and the SCP site are right along the lines of what I was looking for; thanks! I remember Ted’s Caving story from a few years back; always fun to revisit that one, too. ---

Anyway, time for my contribution. For the last two years, I’ve been a big fan of [this website](http://www.opacity.us/locations/). Nay, I could spend hours on it. You just click on any of the “locations” and read the history and see old photos and then, whenever you’re ready, scroll down to the bottom of each page to click on and visit the “gallery” of that location and view shots taken by people who seek these sort of places out. Some of the photos really want to make you look over your shoulder to make sure you’re alone. ---

I’m really enjoying [SCP](http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/). That picture for the Hanged King play is incredibly creepy (though I think the high heels detract from it).
