Could someone please recommend SCARY games for the PS3? Games with a very dark, tense atmosphere, a lot of suspenseful/startling moments, and gameplay built around exploration rather than action? I’ve played Resident Evil 5 and hate it, so that’s already been disqualified. ---

Silent Hill 2 & 3 are being re-released for PS3 in January. ---

I found _Bioshock_ to be intolerably scary, but I’m a big wuss when it comes to shooter games. ---

Thanks everyone. I will get Fatal Frame, that looks great! Four replies? There have got to be some others here who are vaguely aware of scary games. Some of my favorite games: Resident Evil 2 Resident Evil: Code Veronica Resident Evil Manhunt Clock Tower Heavy Rain ---

If you mean PS2 or 3, then try all the Silent Hills (except 4, haven’t played that). I’m not sure if F.E.A.R. is on PS3, probably a good choice if it is. ---

The Dead Space games are supposed to be scary. Haven’t played them though. ---

Scariest game I’ve played lately is _Amnesia: Dark Descent_. But it’s PC only. ---
