Good guy runs up to see bad guys speeding away in a car - commandeers a passing car and gives chase. Bad guys of course get away, being already really far away and in several possible directions.
…And Good Guy is arrested for auto theft.
Sort of reminds me of a couple of video games were the hero can’t enter the volcano zone without special heat resistant armor. I also thought it was neat how in certain RPG’s elemental weapons and spells actually cure the monster of the same element.
