Seriously, folks, the amount of storage the entire SDMB occupies is probably less than my entire video database, now grown to over 20 TB online (local network) and 30TB offline, plus over 1PB on loose disks. It’s not the size, it’s the motion. Let’s get this sucker fixed.

The announcement title, shown at the top of the thread list pages (at least here in ATMB) randomly shows the correct title, or an older title (on the subject of needing nominations for Weird Earl’s or something).
Whichever title shows, when I click on it, I then randomly get either the actual current announcement, or the announcement about the Weird Earl thing.
While Jerry stays up all night doing this, who is going to have wild drunken end-of-the-world parties tonight?

The maintenance was not expected to fix the Search issue, was it? Because I still get the “Try again in 89 seconds” message.
Other issues seem to have improved.
If the maintenance is still ongoing, then good luck feeding the hamsters their itty-bitty steroids.

Jerry did say taking the board down last night was the first step in a process.
You should not expect that this is the end of the story; there might well be more to come and times when the board is temporarily unavailable or you are inconvenienced in other ways, although we hope not.
There’s more to do and more questions to answer and etc. But it does appear from a glance around that things are “so far, so good.”
I expect a lot for my $7.48.

Not a bug, but a feature. The overlords feel that anyone who needs a fix more often than every 2 minutes is search-happy and needs to be restrained.
I can’t tell if you are serious or not, but I get the message every time I do a Search, even the first time. I don’t think I am the only one who gets the error. I suppose I should be using Google, but I am not used to how to select certain fora, getting back threads instead of posts, sorting by date, etc.

Looks like it’s working! Decided to show a little trust for once in my life and went back to being a member now rather than testing it for a few days.
I was serious about the 2 minute limit being deliberately imposed. I never saw the other error you mention. But there still seems to be a bug after your posts that starts, “Regards…”
