School starts here tomorrow. I suspect my mother secretly does not want school to start. Sure, the siblings (and myself) might be out of the house and thus much less likely to murder each other during daylight hours, but in return, she must ensure everyone is up and out the door every morning and back in the house every night. She hates that.

Ah well, 10 days here. Or 20. Or maybe more, or in between, depending on how construction goes. Right now, the entire crew of Ground Force couldn’t get it done in time.
Oh yes, and that Staples commercial is about as funny as Friends, rape-by-knifepoint, 9/11, and Billy Crystal.

You’re right Jess, having to get back to “real life” kinda sucks. I hate the nagging, the homework, etc, but there’s still a part of me that loves the sense of order again.

Ah, I’m sure my mom would agree with you…once football season’s over. By then, everything’s calmed down, all of the extracurricular activity schedules are normal, and she’s resigned to the inevitable. Then she really likes kicking everyone out of the house with an evil chuckle. One would think it was her favorite part of the day.

Well, today is the first day of the fourth week of second semester. I have an OSCE exam on thursday (objective systematic clinical examination), an article analysis, a tute presentation and a test next week, another test the week after, and a 4000-word essay and a clinical skills writeup due the week after that.
Somehow, the novelty of being back at uni has worn off…

Ghahahaha, that is so funny! I used to die on the inside when I saw that commercial now that I am a highschooler I don’t even care!
I still hate school, but at least it keeps me occupied most of the time.🙂
