In the original miniseries of Dune that came out in 2000, the few space scenes were silent and were awesome. Tiny ships flying past enormous heighliners, no engine sounds or music.
Unfortunately the ‘special edition’ or ‘extended edition’ or whatever they called it that came out a few years later changed that and added whooshy engines and music.
