Rather, it meant that those of us in the ‘cohort’ would all take our core courses together as a unit, and graduate together at the same time. It was an intense full time program, not the usual a-la-carte style that most degree programs are. And this was 2002… ---

Do you have a better, more earthy word to describe the reason a walrus and sea lion might get conflated? I remember when this was the last place on Earth one would ever expect to get jumped on for using an accurate piece of scientific terminology for which there is no simpler substitute. ---

Incel must mean something other than what I think it does. I thought incel was short for involuntary celibate and people used it to say “haha, noone wants to fuck you, even though you desperately want to get laid” Which I always thought was pretty childish put down considering almost every high school freshman and sophomore would meet this description. ---

Every high school freshman and sophomore wants to drive. Nobody thinks, “HaHa, no one will give you a car because you don’t have a license even though you desperately want to drive!”. So when people talk about incels, high school freshmen and sophomores are not a population that instantly comes to mind. ---
