Seeking to find out the effects of alcohol abuse and why some people become alcoholics, [scientists are getting bees buzzed.](http://www.sundayherald.com/45569) Bees consumed drinks ranging in strength from the equivalent of table wine to pure grain squeezins. The report failed to indicate whether drunken bees were predisposed to pick fights with bigger bees and get their stingers kicked, if they chose to sing very badly at bee Karaoke, and if the drinking bees reported waking up in strange hives next to really ugly bees. 😉 ---

My advice to all those drunk bees: Admit that your hives have become unmanageable. and Turn your hives over to the keeper as you understand him. ---

Were these bees allowed to fly on their own? For shame? Drinking and flying have become a major cause of tragic bee-related accidents! Always appoint a designated flyer! Disclaimer: Drinking and driving is stupid, please do not attempt it.
