Pretty simple. Mob rules, or producers rule. Do you want an evironment friendly to the mob, or the producers? My factual basis is the early US, yours is Cuba. ---

Liberalism and the left provided the mob rules atmosphere that let both men off. That is the way the public wanted it … Right. The overwhelming vote was for war. Rhight. Why can’t poeple understand that it was voted for in the beginning? Rights were given up. People died, and you keep arguing for the process that garnered it. Democracy. Where is my oil? BTW, I make weapons electronics. ---

The left in the US will never gain power in a mob, hence the reason why I do not have that position, and I’m on the record elsewere that even if I had the chance I would refuse that kind of rule if I had the control. But you are an idiot for insisting we do. And I already mentioned that the mainstream media and other powers influenced their votes, it may not mean anything to your tiny brain, but many of those that voted for are sorry that they did, even Republicans. ---

Jump back a few years and you will see that they were all about confining the growth and powers of the government. The left were the slave owners by the way. Jump ahead a few years and you get the IRS and then social engineering into law. These are progressive? Those are viable only in political vote buying. It worked Today the Exxon damned punishment for being profitable and the Scooter trial are more important than letting the producers produce. That is the true evil. ---

I need a cite for the constitution? It gives small powers but mostly gaurantees freedoms. In fact it gives the right to defend the country. That is the only right that is specifically given to the federal government. Not taxes, Not social enginerring, Not healthcare. ---

[/QUOTE] Way to miss the point, I retorted that because you said that “My factual basis is the early US” implying that was a noble thing to use as a model, and that I was using the Cuban one, finding evidence that the start of the American Nation had little to do with democratic ideals or even libertarian ones (unless you are making the point slavery is a Libertarian ideal) weakens your sorry point then, which was what I wanted to demonstrate. ---

IMHO it was only after the civil war and getting vote to the women and the civil rights that America finally became the stuff that was mentioned in the constitution and the bill of rights. ---
