Keep digging…
So … when we boiled it all down to a fact that is still in dispute, you still froth at the mouth over the Bush adminstration? The political concepts are clear, you are the whiney bitch today and I will be tomorrow. Do you like it that way?
Only in your mind peeps.
Well yes, specially because I read that Joe McCarty was holding… an actual laundry list when he made his famous retort of having in his hands a list of Communists in government, ain’t history neat?
Those ISP’s on Neverland will like it too.
Forgot to add:
When John Mace, one of the few conservatives I respect, validates me I have nothing to whiney about, keep being left alone in Neverland you lexicon challenged, pretend that is a Libertarian, one.
Heck, you can not even hold a candle to our own Liberal, that BTW is a libertarian.
(Maybe you should ignore that last paragraph, your head could explode)
In a book on hoaxes, it was mentioned that a reporter did ask McCarthy much later what was that list and he told him it was his laundry list. We may debate if it was an actual laundry list, you know, the one that you use to get your clothes at the launderer (you need all the help with explanations, you see) or a laundry list in the sense of a mobster having a list of names to clean; but the fact is, He did lie, he did not have a list of names in the State Department.
Likewise, the sources you mentioned have no compunction on lying to their readers, And that is because the readers are getting to read what they want.
Just one bit more to entertain what is left of your brain:
IIRC John Mace has mentioned before that he supports libertarian ideals, so when he notices that you are indeed wet about Wilson you should ponder, once again this has little to do with ideology, what is important to learn is that your points are not supported by facts.
And McCarthy is pinin’ for the fjords.
Not that the sales were happening, bob – a point on which you seem to respond with smoke and mirrors and froth and venom whenever cornered. A point on which the Admin itself has long, long since shut up, and it astonishes me to find that at this date, the lie still appears to be circulating in the RW blogosphere. Somewhere. I occasionally lurk on FR and, IME, nobody there seems to be so stubborn or brazen as to hold to that long-discredited canard. Hussein was not seeking to acquire any uranium from Niger. Wilson told the truth on that point, as was his duty. Wilson was punished. The same thing has happened to many dedicated professional civil servants under this Admin, and to many dedicated professional military officers, too.
[sigh] See, this is like Al Gore and the Internet. I cannot prove Al Gore invented the Internet – nor can you prove he ever claimed to have done so. He didn’t, and he never claimed it. He did take credit for the Internet’s invention, and quite properly, in the sense that, while a senator, he got Congress to fund its development. Yet we spent all of 2000 hearing Gore called a liar because he claimed to have invented the Internet.
No, bob, Bush did not commute Libby’s sentence to drive liberals crazy, and would roll his eyes if you suggested it to him. He did it to protect his own. And yes, many in this and future administrations will take the stand in court, I am quite certain.
Senior officials in the CPD div. in the CIA picked Joe Wilson for the inquiry. He was not suggested for the mission by his wife.
In 1999 he was in another inquiry that his wife did recommend him. He was an ambassador in Africa and had contacts in Niger. He was the correct man for the mission.
He contributed to the Bush campaign in 2000. He is not a Democrat .He may be becoming one now though. As any thinking man who cares about his country lying to him should.
I know that other people are arguing this much better than me, but I had to jump in just to make a clarification. bobby boy, you mentioned wanting to play in GD and not the Pit. Piece of advice for you: if you throw around a blatant exclusion of the middle logical fallacy around, those folks will eat you for lunch.
A bit uncertain, what wine goes best with braised newbie? A nice chianti?
Not bad, not bad at all. I’d recommend a Merlot when it’s prepared as shishkebab.
