The way it was just explained here on TV is that Glasgow was expected to be “Yes” and it was, but not enough to tip the balance, and Edinburgh I don’t believe is in yet and is expected to add to the “No” side. The fat lady hasn’t sung yet but she’s tuning up. 🙂 ---

The largest city, Glasgow went Yes. The Capital, Edinburgh voted quite firmly No. This has been quite an exemplary example of a democracy in action. 86% voter turnout. ---

BBC is now reporting a win for the No votes. I guess the counting will go on another day or two?
