# Scotsman DCE 33a under counter icemaker

Sort of silly question but there is a control knob lower right when you open the outer door. The sticker that showed what the knob position was for has disappeared. I want to clean the machine and I am supposed to use this knob to turn it off, but there is no hard stop (just a soft detente at 12:00) so I do not know what to do. I have tried to find it online, but I could not find any clear pictures.

My current problem is thin walled cloudy ice cubes. I just finished cleaning out the drain. Next I want to clean the innerds of the machine. Anyone have other suggestions as to the cause of my problem?

I believe [this link](https://www.scotsman-ice.com/service/Service%20Manuals/DCE33M.pdf) goes directly to the manual for your model. I think page 17 explains how to clean it.
