# Scotsman ice maker woes

I have a Scotsman DCE33 under counter ice maker. In the cycle before the freezing cycle the reservoir overflows. I do not know if that means the overflow tube is clogged or how to clean it out for that matter or or whether a myriad of other causes could be to blame. Does anyone have experience with this machine?

My SIL and darling daughter fight this battle regularly. Don’t know the brand of their similar ice maker but the house’s previous owner was a building construction owner and he put in _very_ high end appliances (their replacement dishwasher cost more than my last used car), yet it still happens. Believe SIL finally turned off water supply at valve nearest the ice maker to preserve the floor tiles in front of it and his sanity on weekends.
