Never mind – I realized you were only talking about **Tim Staab** ’s specific claim and arguing that you did the equivalent kind of questioning that Shodan did. However, as to “ **Shodan** would have lost on the first day” – didn’t your non-question post to the Mutant Registration thread precede that one you linked from **Shodan**? I don’t have the links in front of me at the moment, so I don’t know the exact time stamps. Assuming this was intended as a competition in the first place… heh. ---

I think that the joke is that you are seen as the champion, and he gets a mental image of the song as a result. However, since the song is hard to get out of one’s mind, this is very annoying to him. ---

He refused to believe what I was saying, and after a while, I posted a little victory speech. He went on to argue even more, and both sides wore each other out. Besides that, and one or two other times, I do not believe that I have ever “claimed victory”. True, I believe I am right, and the opposing side is wrong, but that hardly means I have “won.” However, the difference is too subtle for most. This lead to the oh so funny phrase “I, won!” All in all, the image I have of myself is of someone who is able too see wholes in arguments, and point them out. I sometimes post indecipherable comments, which are sometimes due to my impatience in posting about a hot button issue, and are sometimes due to the fact that people see things in many different ways. ---
