I get it. We need capable individuals. Stereotypes and generalities aren’t always true. Sexism is bad. But the fact of the matter is, the world is run moreso by men and women. Stereotypes and generalities do exist. So does sexism. I’m of the opinion that too much of anything is a bad thing. We have too many men in charge and that’s why we got so many fucking problems. ---

Well, nevermind the fact that over the course of nearly 200 posts there have been plenty of examples of avaricious women, but frankly it just doesn’t make any sense. I mean, are you suggesting that men are incapable of being sympathetic as rulers? Are you positing that if there is a man in power he will be compelled to start a war? The fact that we’ve never have a world like that says nothing. Besides, are you actually suggesting that we somehow try to replace _every male leader the world over_ with a woman, and that this is how we will bring an end to warfare? The bottom line is, why post in Great Debates if you can’t or won’t abide by board rules and standards? When people join, they typically read for a long time before posting, just so they get an idea of how we do things. If you make a statement in GD, back it up with a cite or risk people thinking you are an obtuse moron. If you keep dismissing well-educated people who do have cites and accurate information for four pages, you remove any doubt. ---
