And Mike has defeated me as of… now. 288 - 237, and I got lucky. And he gave me breaks! Whoever gets Mike next, be afraid. He’s damn good at this. For my next feat, I shall challenge Mike to a game of ‘blade - scrabble’, in which only words relating to knives, swords, and other sharp metal implements will be allowed. 😃 ---

Flymaster was good enough to give me a second game after I screwed up the first (I accidentally closed the window). Unfortunately I rewarded his generosity by beating him. 265-254. It was a good game. ---

OK, I have the following as winners in the first round of the SDMB scrabble tourney: **MikeG** -playing under the nom de guerre Octarine fire **obfusciatrist** **blanx** **dpr** nice score, by the way 😉 **Dynosaur** **Mooney252** **WickedBlue** and missing are the results if any from the **Dr.Paprika/Ender** battle, and the **Merc/Dyno** battle. I would also like to echo the sentiment that I love the tone of the games so far. There were only two challenges in my game (could have been more on both sides!) and I did in fact give up a triple word score on a X word in order to open up the upper left quadrant:) Let’s go again! ---
