I have seen other New Tracts announced and trounced on this board so here’s Jack’s latest. [Scream](http://www.chick.com/reading/tracts/5021/5021_01.asp) is nothing new but I have to wonder how many more will end with a character in a hospital bed with a bandage on their head. I’m not sure if his poignent ode to 9/11 [Who Cares](http://www.chick.com/reading/tracts/5020/5020_01.asp?FROM=bibleseries) was discussed last month as I can’t find it in my imperfect search. But I think both need a bashing. And yes there is another bandaged head hospital scene. :smack: Why are all the people Bob (John Waters) meets so completely ignorent of the obvious facts that even your average atheistic/non christian brain dead baboon is aware of (much less your average human being)? ---

Let’s all tell the fireman who tried to save someone’s life that he’s going to hell. And let’s all do that without provocation! Sheesh, we weren’t even led to the fact that the poor fireman was already living a bad life. No build up. The bad guy that lived gets away and the good fireman gets the super mega guilt trip while he’s dying of burn wounds. Great going, Bob! I wish Jack would do a “Bob Dies And Goes To Hell For Being A Sanctimonious Ass”. Likes: The squirrels in the 6th panel from the end. Bob smirking in panels 20 and 32. The cheap arson. $2,000 to torch a building? He must’ve been desperate. ---

Bob Williams = John Waters. It’s all starting to make sense. At least now I can enjoy Chick tracts on a whole new level. I think \*_DeadlyAccurate_ summed it up well. It made no sense (Jack’s own bizarre brand of “sense”) to give the poor burned fireman a ration of shit without an appropriate setup. I’m afraid Jack is just going through the motions and not putting his heart into his work. ---

I have seen many creepy images of ol Bob there, but that last panel of that comic was something outta my worst nightmares. Ol’ Bob looks POSSESSED BY EEEEEEVUUUUL in that last frame. ---

This just reminded me of a great dream that I had last night and now remember only vaguely: A new Chick tract was out, and it featured about half-a-dozen prominent celebrities (including Ben Affleck) participating in a Satanic Ritual Abuse Cult. I was gleefully Googling around, looking for evidence of credulous folks that accepted it as gospel, and anticipating the financial ruin of Chick Enterprises at the hands of high-priced libel lawyers in sharkskin suits. After that, this one was a bit a of a let-down. About _Scream_– I really love Bob. His mixed-messages and stereotypical “villain” mustache make me suspect that Chick is a closet Manichean-- or, even better, the most sublime Subgenius Epopt _ever,_ extracting funds from the pinkest of the fundies, and producing an unprecedented volume of quality bulldada. ---
