I am amused with all of the events that occur outside the ceremony itself. Like the Red Carpet Fashion Critique Show Extravaganza! I guess the attraction is that it lets us little people dream what it would be like to rub elbows with other gorgeous people, and wear 100,000 dollar jewelry. 🙂 The original Oscar ceremonies were not all that, right? Pretty subdued back then, weren’t they? When did they get glamorized? ---
