Screw you, Earth. I'm people...

It seems to me that if the only reason that you can come up with for taking care of the Earth is that it’s in our interest, then that shows rather clearly that our interests are the ultimate justification, and therefore what’s most important.

Instead of contemplating the usage of technological advances so that we can continue to exist after we foul up the planet, why don’t we think about using technological advances to reverse the damage done and find more eco-friendly solutions to problems posed? I don’t see how using technology to sequester ourselves in biospheres would be a more desirable goal than using technology to learn to live with the earth. Both would be expensive and both would involve sacrifice - it’s just that the latter option involves foresight as well, and that doesn’t seem to be a gift that was lavished on humanity in abundance.

What other reason are you looking for? Since we have no place else to go right now, then yes it would be in our best interest to protect the earth. In this regard earth will be more important and if you do not think so try living on a rock in the middle of the desert w/ no food and water and tell me what you think is more important.

If you still do not understand then think of it this way: your body is the planet and your soul is the people. If you do not take care of your body, then you are going to have a short miserable life. Which one is more important know? So until you learn to live without a body, better start eating healthy.

what if the highest quality of human life is what’s best for the planet. what if we are being brainwashed by TV psycho-manipulation to want what is NOT BEST. we work for garbage to make others richer and screw ourselves.
