Real men have [Spaceballs!](http://www.3dconnexion.com/products/4000/). Used to be used only for high end 3d platforms, now they have drivers for almost every program imaginable, and you can program all the buttons to do so much more. I have three of them, one at each 3d workstation, and I’m looking to get more.

Fear the awsome power of my triad of spaceballs!

You’ll never take over the world with that fancy, over molded, overdone, crap!

Logitech model# C7-3F-9F

Boxy-check

Buttons not flush with surface-check(infact, they’re kind of concave so as to cradle the fingers)

Has middle button that is no longer supported by the Windows driver I had to use-check

Was made before 1990-ho yeah! that’s a check.

Of course for really big projects, I use my Commodore 64-got a mouse for that too.

I love you!

Would it be obsessive of me to buy 8 or 10 of them to use for spare parts?

Or simply a reasonable investment?

BS BS BS Trackball is the only ‘manly’ way to go. No carpal tunnel here by jove. Set it on anything. precise. easy, no cleaning programmable. What’s not to like. Fits BIG BIG hands…

Yepper, TrackMan Marble + is the ticket…

Trackball really sucks for FPS and RTS games, doesn’t it?

Since the only game this fumble finger can play is free cell , 7150 and climbing in order, a track ball is mighty fine… he he he I am not a gamer unfortunately…

Yup. Lousy range of motion, if you plan on keeping your fingers anywhere near the buttons.

Nope. I use a Logitech Trackman marble wheel, and regularly kick ass when we play Unreal Tournament during the lunch break.
