I reported myself to the board. If I am trolling it sure wasn’t intentional. Just trying to say something that most cops fantasize about but wouldn’t really do. IMHO some of you folks really need to lighten up. Most of the folks on here are okay, but some of you (and you know who you are) really take things too seriously. ---

Wow, I just read all the replies. I am truly sorry for offending you all, I really didn’t mean to. I guess I must be as stupid as you all say. I do not lie but I do say some things tongue in cheek just trying to spark a little discussion. I make typus, mispell thing and do lousy punctuation, but, hey, lighten up. You’re new in these parts, and (not surprisingly) you don’t particularly understand the local culture. A lot of the pile-on you experienced here results from the fact that your post starting this thread potentially ran afoul of a few of the “local ordinances” and people didn’t know what to make of you. For now I take you at your word that you really are unfamiliar with terms like _troll_ and _cite_. If so, you have a pretty good learning curve ahead of you. At or near the top of each forum page are _stickies_ setting forth each forum’s rules (at ATMB is also a thread explaining some of the SDMB’s unique “vocabulary”). You are well advised to study these and take them to heart. You might consider reading more and posting less 'til you get a feel for the place. (My apologies if this looks like _junior-modding_. I’m just trying to give a _newbie_ a helping hand.) ---
