May I suggest www.Alienware.com? I’ve bought half a dozen computers in my life from five different companies, and Alienware is the only one that’s gotten any repeat business from me. They’ll be the first people I call when it’s time for computer #7.
But it was your mistake. Why blame Dell because YOU screwed up? Next time, just resolve to pay more attention.
No it’s not. Please observe the following difference.
Nazi Germany fomented war across two continents and killed 6 million Jews and 5 million other noncombatants.
You got poor customer service.
Hope that helps.
Are you 100% sure about this?
That’s what you get for letting the monkeys help…
Not true at all. Are you sure you didn’t call Compaq by mistake?
Don’t ever buy ANYTHING from tiger direct. Over at anandtech.com a bunch of people proved that tiger direct sold your information/buying history etc etc to spam lists.
www.NewEgg.com On the otherhand has had top rated marks in nearly every respect, and usually has prices that beat Tiger Direct to boot.
Btw, Corex. Your computer probably does support 1 gig, but your OS might not. iirc only windows 2000 and windows XP natively support more then 512 megs of ram. If you have anything older you have to implement a hack. You can instructions online.
