# Scriptwriting computer program?

Could/has somebody created a computer program that can “write” a movie script? I remember hearing something about Harvard students that created a computer program that could write academic papers (although not very well). I realize that the results are likely to be bizarre and borderline nonsensical.

[The Postmodernism Generator](http://www.elsewhere.org/pomo/). It works so well because of the nature of the medium. Postmodern essays are, almost by definition, ridiculous. I don’t think a movie script generator would work so well.
