Woo! A few minutes in and…well, not much to report yet. 😛 I forgot Elliot was at another hospital, I hope we still get to see her cause, well…it’s nice to see her. 😉 How is JD an attending already? Doesn’t that take a few more years? 😕 Doesn’t it usually go intern-\>resident-\>fellowship-\>attending? Anyways, the best part? _Two_ episodes tonight! Woo! ---

I havn’t seen the episodes yet, I work evenings, will watch them tonight after I get home. But I just want to mention re Elliot: They never seem to know what to do with her when she’s not JD’s love interest. I hope that changes with this new hospital. ---

Ah. I missed that show and I can only watch the dvd so many times. I loved the alzheimers patient that tackles people. “Who am I!?!?” _WHAM_ ---

I’m ever so glad for this show to be back on, I missed it. And I’m pleased with the two (count 'em!) new episodes tonight. I don’t get how Eliot lost her fellowship. The annoying guy, Charlie, cured something so she gets the boot? Bwuh? ---

He found a cure (without her help, since she blew him off earlier) so he got to stay and she got the boot, since Charlie clearly didn’t need her, why pay the money for her? ---

I thought that the first episode was a bit too heavy on the slapstick. They got the mood right in episode #2. (And I was just like Turk, wondering where I’d seen that patient before!) ---

I fear the whole “Elliot fired” thing is going to be their way of pressing the reset button, sending her back to Sacred Heart. The show’s still funny, but a few honest-to-god changes in these characters’ lives would be refreshing. ---

You don’t have to do a fellowship if you’re going to be a general internist. JD and Eliot did the typical three-year internal medicine residency (the first year of which is the “internship”), then did an extra year as chief resident (which is common). Now, JD is an attending while Eliot briefly went off to do some really strange fellowship. (The show is usually pretty accurate in its portrayal of medical education, but there were plenty of things wrong with this fellowship, from why an internist would be doing a research fellowship on osteogenesis imperfecta to what sort of fellowship lets you decide whether or not to take it essentially the day before it starts.) Turk is still a resident, because a general surgery residency is five years. ---

Fellowship is an option, IIRC, (i dated a pre-med for a while) depending on the doctor’s specialty. Besides, John Carter on ER went from intern to resident to attending in 5 seasons, and this is Scrub’s 5th season. Factor in “poetic license” and it’s perfectly fine. Personally, I want to see the legal guy’s quartet sing more this season. They actually have a CD out. I didn’t like the “Keith in first person” perspective gimmick in teh first episode. Got annoying quickly. The second episode was actually pretty good. Glad to have the show back finally. They should stick it on Thursday with Earl, dump Will and Grace and call it a day. It’d be must see as far as I’m concerned. ---

Will & Grace has _J’ed the S_ as far as I’m concerned. I’d rather see Scrubs on Thursday so I wouldn’t have to turn on the tube on Tuesdays. The second Scrubs was pretty funny. The first one was lame. I thought they were setting us up for a big cameo with the “Point of View” intern then nothing. But I guess they had to get back into the show. ---

I watched the first episode, but it was so stupid I got dismayed and skipped the second. My problem is, CSI will be opposite Earl. I’ll have to tape one, but which one? ---
