# Scylla, Weirddave, Fenris, a moment...

In appreciation of good writing:
While I read Teemings (and congratulations to staff and contributors on the current issue, by the way), I haven’t really taken a close look at the Extras.
I found a bit of free time just now (it was behind the couch; a little dusty, but still good) so I decided to remedy that.
While there’s some terrific writing in there, I have to congratulate you three in particular.
We Now Rejoin My Life, Already In Progress ( **Weirddave** ), My Wife, the Angel of Death ( **Scylla** ) and How Do You Become a Moderator - Manhattan’s story especially made me laugh - ( **Fenris** ); all fan-bloody-tastic in their own way.
I’m trying to be a writer, and I love seeing words used well. [sub]On the other hand, I’m as jealous as hell but now’s not the time for that.[/sub]
Hats off for some fine and evocative writing; thanks for sharing.

Well, if we can get enough of the Teeming Millions together, prolly the Meadowlands. As it stands now, you’re the only one interested, so I’d look for a hole in the wall bar with Black Label on tap. Served in plastic cups. By a big fat guy named “Buddy” who always has the stub of a 10 year old cigar clamped between his teeth, 4 days growth and a tattoo of a naked lady labeled “MOM” on his forearm.

Thanks **tavalla**! I search out **Scylla and Weirddave** ’s posts too. I appreciate the compliment of being grouped with them.
By the way, just as a point of order, it’s well-known on the SDMB, that your thread title would be more properly phrased “Fenris, Scylla, Weirddave” or “Fenris, Weirddave, Scylla”. Any other combination is simply incorrect. 😉 😃
