Just confirming the roster: Is the 3rd WR a flex position (i.e., any WR-RB-TE)? ---

DragonAsh will take our 12th slot. I generally don’t like to recruit outsiders with no history to the auction league, but he seems very enthusiastic about getting into the SDMB leagues, so I’m hoping that will translate into a high level of participation throughout the year. And no, there are no flex slots in this league. The roster spots are a pretty standard QB, WRx3, RBx2, TE, K, D. ---

After last season’s bitter, embarrassing loss in the championship game and general poor management of the team, all of the team’s administration was forced to commit seppuku rather than face the dishonor of another losing season. From the still-warm entrails it was divined how to complete the championship mission and the team was immediately packed up and moved to a better climate. The team name and colors have changed to inspire more merchandise sales. We are now **HungryHungryHaruspex** in honor of that fateful night. (And because it’s too many characters for Yahoo to allow me a space or two) ---

It’s conceivable that the hurricane could knock out my power for multiple days. It’s supposed to hit Sunday morning. Hopefully I’ll make the draft, but if I don’t have power I don’t have power. ---

I’m not in a particularly dangerous area storm-wise, and I just finished putting sandbags (salt bags, actually) all around the garage door to keep flooding at bay so I should be fine. The problem is that I’m in a _terrible_ spot for power, frequently losing it. Losing power for 8+ hours is not at all uncommon from just regular storms, of which we get a lot. (This past February I lost power for 8 hours; house got down to 51 degrees before the power came back on…brrr!) So I’m expecting to be fine but also to be without power for days. ---

I’m in the auction league (and two others, but not the dynasty). Just having a little fun. Didn’t realize it was already time to start setting teams this week until a few minutes before my first post. Haven’t really been following the pre-season except for trying to see who my **GIANTS** will be fielding this year. ---
