True, I meant that I believed that it was that comment that was the last straw - he’d been warned earlier that morning for his behavior in the coffee thread, and clearly didn’t take much heed of it. ---

Because the vB software only supports the word “banned.” One can be banned for a limited number of days or banned permanently Since a banning for a limited number of days looks and feels just like a suspension, we refer to a person who has been banned for a temporary period as suspended. It would require extra work on the part of the Admins to manually changed the title from “banned” to “suspended,” then to change it back from “suspended” to “member,” so we just let the word “banned” hang under the name for thirty days. As to why there is not a thread in ATMB, I could not tell you as I was not involved in this situation. ---
