I note that once again you’re ignoring actual genetic evidence in favor of your feelings. The Sahara desert has not been around forever, and has not been as large as it is now for long at all. [Until about 5000 years ago,](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sahara_desert#Egyptians) much of it was quite habitable. And there has been “genetic communication” up and down each coast of Africa for thousands of years, unhindered by deserts. ---
