I find it funny that people are still trying to argue with NDD and brazil84. It’s like talking to two pieces of petrified dinosaur shit. It’s not going to do any good, and frankly, they’re both capable of similar levels of rational thought. If countless examples of scientific study and genetic analysis aren’t going to convince them, nothing will. It wouldn’t matter if the Aryan Nation came out tomorrow and proclaimed “After worldwide study, oops, we were wrong!” They’d still hold on to their bigoted thoughts. Looking at the quality and irrefutability of the scientific cites posted by many people in this thread, and the fact that NDD and brazil84 haven’t acknowledged one single piece of this scientific evidence shown to them, while reiterating horrible leaps in logic from their bigoted positions pretty much shows that they are lost causes. NDD, maybe you should change your handle to Coprolite. It fits you. ---

As much as anyone else, I’d love for **NDD** and his tag-along pal **brazil84** to shut the fuck up forever. They’re both profoundly irritating “debaters” who resolutely and purposefully fail to comprehend why their just-so theories of race don’t count as science, no matter how patiently the explanation is dumbed down and spoon-fed to them. Both of them are clearly happy to have found a forum that will allow them to celebrate their bigotry with impunity as long as they stay within the letter of the law, and the board is absolutely made worse by their presence. Despite all that, and sick as I am of seeing the same tired “argument” rehashed over and over, I think banning them would be a bad precedent. At his current rate, soon enough **84** will have nobody left to talk to on the board anyway, and **NDD** strikes me as the kind of intellectual powerhouse who might be hit by a train while trying to slip around a signal arm. ---

Well, the [GD thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=653191) prompting this thread has attracted a scientifically literate poster [pitted before](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=623033). I have a question to the race realists. In the _Origin of Species_, Darwin claims inbreeding leads to a decline in fecundity. Wouldn’t allopatric isolation lead to the same phenomenon? Also, wouldn’t a “black subspecies” living in a European culture be subject to the same selection pressures and thus have the same evolutionary trend? Or are there preordained genes which allow for faster evolution? It seems like another example of the just world hypothesis at play. Finally, I watched Brazil yesterday. Not a single ethnic minority to be seen. Surely the ideal society to live in, no?
