I will be departing for Christmas with the family this Friday. My package hasn’t arrived yet but I’ll be able to extend Christmas when I get back in January! ---

It’s here! It’s here! I got my package today and, of course, opened it immediately. It’s a coffee mug from Umpqua (awesome name!) Community College. I bet I’m the only one in the office who will have one. Thanks, **Lancia!** I will be drinking my french vanilla roast out of it tomorrow morning… ---

I sent that out Monday; the mails sure did quick work. I’m glad you like it! ‘Umpqua’ is the local Indian tribe, and their namesake has been applied locally to many things. In fact, if you have a copy of “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” handy, flip it open to the first page or two, where he’s describing the Big Nurse: the Umpqua Indians are mentioned as the local tribe (selling baskets by the highway IIRC) There is a reason for this… Kesey got the idea for the novel here in Roseburg, OR and not Menlo Park as is usually thought. The mental hospital that was used as the inspiration for the novel is still standing right in the center of town, and still in use. ---

Oh my gosh. **FloatyGimpy** , the slippers are a knockout! How did you make all the sqaures just the right size for my feet? I will really enjoy them on chilly nights, especially when I sleep outside. I put the earrings on my ears first thing, a great match for what I am wearing today. You have me covered head to toe, I am sure the chocolate will go right to my middle. aloha and mahalo~ ---

My gift was sent Monday, sorry it went out later than expected. I ran into some difficultly getting the gift I wanted to send. I will be back home next week and will report my expected joy on opening my gift. ---

I got a gift wrapped package from Amazon. The card on the package says its from Nefarious Chipmunk. 😃 Thank you! I’ll wait until Christmas to open the package. I just put it under our tree. Then I’ll post here again after opening it. Getting excited to dive into the presents. he he 😃 There’s only 5 more days. ---
