As I stated in this [thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=161107) , I’m starting a D&D campaign for Dopers.

Why? I love to DM. Why here? I feel I have met some of the most intelligent gamers here, and I’d love to create and run a fantasy world.

I stated three options in the other thread, and I will formalize everything on my Geocities site. I will probably also use my teemingmillions site to keep games separated.

I will be using 2nd edition rules. I play my 3rd ed stuff on Neverwinter Nights, which is another campaign entirely.

The three base games will be:

1. Sigil-based Planescape standard adventure;
2. Spelljammer campaign, “Greyspace War”
3. Turf War, a powergamer’s battle for a tabletop using monsters against monsters.

I will also consider individual campaigns; this means if one person can’t play you are not required to wait.

If you’d like to look at the few things I have online already, use the button below or go [here.](http://www.geocities.com/dmdoug66/)

Go to the website by this time next week, and character creation details will be posted. Feel free to email me with any special requests; I want to play so I’ll design the game so that people can join up as groups and disband as they desire.

Look forward to playing with you…

Careful what you brag about, **Steelerphan**. The last time I knew a guy who loved GMing and creating and running great fantasy worlds, I nearly married him and vice versa! 😃

In other words, I’m in.
