# SDMB Death Panel

[In ATMB **Boyo Jim** suggested such a thread,](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=785285) but was too much a gentleman to create it. I, on the other hand, am no gentleman and can see the value of a serious, non-partisan discussion, with citations and evidence why this person should be wished into the cornfield. However, I don’t actually expect that, so I’m putting it in the Pit rather than ATMB.
Don’t suggest somebody simply because you disagree with them or they annoy you. I do not want “mere” politics entering into it, so bring your eight-by-ten color glossy photographs with circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one explaining what each one was to be used as evidence against them. Standard Pit rules apply, but with a dash of GD–no pulling shit out of your ass. As the OP, and as a guy with a lousy memory who gave up years ago keeping track of who I like and dislike so I default to liking all y’all, I will act as a sort of referee. And anybody who disagree with that last point can bite me. 😃

I love this message board, a little too much by some standards. I will not name a name, but recently we’ve had some crazy ideas and thoughts that most of us would flat out disagree with. Banning trolls is fine, but those who wish to engage in no matter how ridiculous a standpoint is great to read and sometimes engage with. This is part of the fun for me.
