“Sacrificed”, my butt. I _was_ prepared for an attack on Norway (as prepared as I could be, at any rate). Heck, I was expecting it: the assault on the North Sea was actually a hedge against that possibility. If I’d known _you_ were trying shots in the dark, I would have relieved you of your Belgian responsibilities. Of course, now that I do have the North Sea I have so many interesting choices for the fall turn… ---

Last incoming email I got there was at 8am, but outgoing email seems to work OK. But if you’ve sent me any emails today, please re-send to the email I list here on the SDMB. I’ve sent an email to that effect from the Yahoo! account to all players. Someone let me know if they received it, OK? ---

In between razzing each other, I’ve got some questions for the multitudes that have played Dip: 1. About how many times have you played Dip: a) online (email) b) FTF c) postal 2. For each of the above that apply, how many games have you been in that have had a winner (18 bases)? (If you remember, which countries won?) 3. How many games have **you** won? 1a) I’m guessing I’ve played 12-15 games FTF (it was a long time ago). 1bc) Dip 983 is my fifth email Dip game; I’ve never played postal. 1. There were winners in 2 of the FTF games. Austria both times. 2. I’ve been in some DsIAS, but have never won outright.
