I just want to post that I’m really enjoying the Aberation game!! At first I thought it was too big and would lose subtlety but I was wrong! It’s fun. 🙂 ---

Youse guys are funny–thought I’d pipe up to tell ya someone else reads your thread occasionally. Also, I’ve been reading Edward Lear limericks to my kids. He has one for most every dip country. Well, the opening moves in the 983 game seem pretty staightforward. Most games don’t seem to get really interesting until 1902, do they? Has anyone else been following the game “Hyperdip” on **Jonathan Chance** ’s web site? That one’s been rather fun to watch; they’re up to 1911 and Italy’s up to 16 centres, but he may be stuck. My guess is Italy can’t get the last two, but the entire eastern front is such a mess that it’s hard to tell. (Can you tell I’m a little bored right now?) ---

Actually, i have been watching that, and it looked to me as if Italy should have it wrapped up in 2 years or less. After all, Italy is the Great Power of Destiny. Who could hope to defeat her? ---

Waverly: well, that was…cryptic. White Lightning: I don’t know. The Italy in “Hyperdip” is bottled up pretty tightly in the Med, Munich isn’t falling any time soon, and in the east Russia has that pesky army in Galicia. Even assuming he keeps Rumania and doesn’t lose Vienna or Budapest, what’s the 18th centre? Munich? Portugal? Moscow? _Maybe_ Warsaw, if he moves those armies in Venice and Rome through Austria captures Galicia… Fun to watch, anyway. ---
