After a failed attempt to construct a schedule from scratch, we finally have it set up roughly as we want. Everyone will play their first three divisional games during the first half of the season, most within the first five weeks. Everyone plays a divisional game in Week 1. In Weeks 8-11 there are no divisional games: everyone hits the road. Finally, the last three weeks are entirely intra-divisional. This set-up is mostly an accident of the way Yahoo auto-generates the schedule, but I like it. And even if I didn’t, I’m sick of tinkering with it. ---

Sucks that yahoo doesn’t do the obvious thing automatically. As long as it’s set up to face each divisional opponent twice and everyone else once, we’re good to go. ---

So today is 9/9/9. We won’t see another date that repeats like that until 1/1/2101, almost a century. Which is fitting, because on this day I plan to build a dynasty that will last that long. The calendar itself has arranged itself to commemorate my fantasy football greatness. (6 hours to go till draft time). ---

Bah, apparently furt is autodrafting 2, so that’s at least 1/6th of the league. That sucks. I hope they took some time to prerank, because this draft is gonna matter more than it could for any other league. ---

Autodrafting “too” I meant to say. Did I really just replace “too” with 2? Is my brain malfunctioning? Anyway, join the draft at 5:30, we can chat in the meantime, and it makes sure you get in on time - yahoo’s app is slow to load and sometime needs to be closed/reloaded. ---

Damn, I spent about 5 hours today putting together a pre-ranking list, but (A) I’m still not done, and (B) I know I’m gonna take 85 seconds to make every pick. I was just running some 1st Round scenarios in my head, and in hardly any of them could I come up with a player I know I’d take for sure. ---
