The Amari Cooper injury ruined me today, I really thought I was on my to a win today. It’s funny, I’m kicking butt in my money league but losing today doesn’t make me feel good about that. ---

You’re losing by 1 point less than Cooper’s season average, so you were basically 50/50 to win even if he hadn’t been injured. ---

I honestly can’t believe my luck through the first six games. Kyler Murray is just slinging it everywhere. Aaron Jones is putting up big numbers. Alshon Jeffery has come alive. And Austin Hooper has turned into a great TE. It might all crash and burn next week, but I’m going to ride this streak for as long as I can. ---

I saw that Miami was the worst defense in terms of QB scoring, so I decided to sub Josh Allen over Aaron Rodgers at the last minute. Of course Rodgers decides to become old Rodgers and score 50 points on my bench. I’ll probably end up squeaking out a win anyway, but it should’ve been a blowout. ---

The fantasy gods continue to curse me with victories despite the fact that I clearly don’t have the depth to compete during the playoffs. This time, I’ve beaten **Hamlet** , and so I will now (hilariously) be in first place overall. I need draft picks, dammit! ---

Even though I got fairly unlucky with wins and losses earlier in the year (I think I started 1-5 with the 6th most points?) my team seems like it’s coming together and a playoff run might be viable. There aren’t that many people more than a game ahead of me. ---

There are four teams with better records than you excluding the division leaders. There are six teams more than a game ahead of you (though probably a couple less after this weekend). That’s not to say you’re eliminated, but I would put my money on the wildcard coming from the Midwest. Hamlet’s in a bit of a slump, of course, but I doubt that is going to last. Heck, just looking at our division you’re still going to be two games behind Petey after this week. ---

There aren’t that many people more than a game ahead of me. I’m just loving how unpredictable this season has been. Almost no one is sitting where the projections (either Yahoo’s or Jules Andre’s) said they would be. That’s not to say you’re eliminated, but I would put my money on the wildcard coming from the Midwest. I wouldn’t count out the Northeast, there’s a real chance that everyone in the Midwest knocks each other out (except for the division leader, of course) and Jules and I both make it in. ---

I forgot to check my lineups before the Thursday night game. Denver is on bye this week and the Chargers are my only other defense. Would anyone mind if I retroactively started the Chargers defense in that D/ST spot, given that it’s obvious that’s what I’d do? They didn’t have a huge game or anything, just 7 points. I normally allow this sort of thing as commish in my leagues when it’s an obvious oversight and the intent would’ve been clear, but I wanted to check first to see if it’s cool if I do it for myself.
