In the interest of keeping the draft moving I’m going to say the next pick after dale becomes eligible in 2 hours, which will have been 24 hours since the last pick. Dale can still jump in at any time with his pick, but the next person up, Petey, can make theirs at that point. ---

I tend to agree with Petey, there should be no reason, for these kinds of delays in selection. I completely understand the desire to attempt to make trades, etc. that may take more time, but over a day is definitely excessive. ---

Okay. I won’t revert the two picks that came after you guys decided to go ahead with the draft. I understand that it had been an excessive wait at that point. As commish I’m just trying to balance everything to make everyone happy. I’d hate to have Dale have his preferred guy taken while he was waiting on the other side of a negotiation, and we’ve still got a few days to finish this up and likely will finish the draft okay, but something like 32+ hours is excessive and did slow the draft to a halt. We can enforce a more rigid time limit of 12 hours if you guys want. If we were closer to the start of the season we might have to. Maybe with special exceptions here and there if people ask for more time. Since Dale is here and active, I’m going to give him the next hour to finish up his pick. At 3:30 eastern, @Really_Not_All_That_Bright can make his pick, and then we can keep going with the next in line, and Dale, if he hasn’t made his pick yet, can just jump in at any time. ---

Okay. @Really_Not_All_That_Bright is up. (Or @dalej42 can jump in at any time) Dale, I suggest you just use that pick because the guy who the party party wants to trade for might be gone by the time you pick anyway. I’m not sure if a trade involving a late second round pick could be worth waiting that much on, unless this was a bigger deal that involved players or picks next year ---
