I’m out shooting pool in my league , in case I can’t make a change quick enough, I want to sub in Sanu, if and only if John Brown is declared inactive tonight and I can’t make the switch soon enough. If he’s active and pulls another zero, I’ll take the goose egg. ---

I think they expected the first play to get them to the 2-minute warning, so it didn’t matter if it was a pass. When the clock stopped at 2:01, and with NE still having a time out, running it twice and then a FG would still get the Pats the ball back with like 1:15, which is more than enough, so the extra chance of scoring a TD is worth the chance of giving them more time. ---

I knew playing without Forte, Devonta, and Gore was dicey (even if Yahoo had me projected for a 20 point win), but I had no idea it would be this bad. ---

Shit, I wish I’d bothered to record the 2nd Half of Cards-Seahawks before going to bed; looks like it turned into a hell of a game. Anyway, thanks Edelman’s injury and Gostkowski’s 50-yard game winner, I [actually have a good chance](http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/f1/170803/matchup?week=10&mid1=1&mid2=2). Problem is that D-Hop is exactly the guy who can drop 26 on you. Surprisingly it looks like he’s only done it once, but almost every week he scores about 20, so all he has to do is tack on one more TD to his normal game. Yahoo says I’m 70% to win, which sounds about right to me. In the Northeast, it’s possible I’ll pick up a game on everyone this week. Also possible \*\*Ellis \*\*will pick up a game on everyone, or that all four teams will lose. **Stringer** to needs to hold on against \*\*Petey \*\*(68% to win) in order to stay in the hunt for the Midwest; if not, \*\*Hamlet \*\*will have a 3-game lead with four to play. But if \*\*Petey \*\*did pull off the upset, and if my lead against \*\*RNATB \*\*holds up, then the Sunbelt wouldn’t be quite as over as we thought. ---

27 points is a big ask, even for Hopkins. He’s scored more than that twice in nine games so I’m not out of it yet. I’m not too worried about **Petey**. He’s 0-3 in the division so I only have to win one of the last three to assure myself of the tiebreaker. More concerning is Edelman’s injury, which is apparently going to keep him out for the rest of the regular season - especially since half my starters are on a bye next week. ---

Some positive news this week for me. I think Martavis Bryant is a WR1. He was very productive last year when he began to start, and he’s got the 5th highest per-game average in scoring this year. Pittsburgh runs their whole productive passing offense through their 2 starting WRs, so it can support two fantasy WR1s. He was a waiver pickup last year. I likely have at least 4 WR1s next year and potentially 6 or 7. There was some Karlos Williams hype, but McCoy is still the bell cow over there and has been consistently productive since he’s come back from injury. Ellington put up a decent amount of points, although not getting a starter’s workload. Still, he’s been getting more touches and has good production per touch. Dexter McCluster has turned into a sneaky adequate flex starter. Jay Ajayi is actually looking pretty good. Unfortunately the current staff in Miami staff does not share the mysterious belief of the previous coaching staff that Lamar Miller is useless. ---

Bah. I hate losing by defense. Especially since Houston wound up having a huge night. On the bright side, I very nearly started Landry Jones over Foles, which would have been even worse. Rolling with a ton of backups this week with half my starters on bye/injured. Now very glad I didn’t trade Jordan Reed, who I’ve offered to a bunch of people for peanuts over the past two seasons. ---

Yeah, much of my team is on a bye this week. It sucks. EDIT: And a recap of my roster change, it netted me an extra 8.8 points from Clive Walford, but I won by 14.81 points so I would have won either way. Northeast Corridor looking strong! ---

I’ll be traveling tomorrow from about 11:30 to 1:30, so I won’t have reliable Internet access, and I wanted to put this out there just in case. Alshon Jeffery is questionable this week and is listed as a gametime decision. I’ve got him in my starting lineup right now, but if he gets announced as inactive before the game, I’d like to replace him with Anquan Boldin. ---

At the moment everyone but me is on track to miss their projection for the week, mostly by quite a bit. Doug Martin ran for 235 yards today (on my bench, of course). No TDs or receptions, but still. Glad I wound up not trading him (yet). ---

RNATB needs 4 from Marvin Jones. I have one of those complicated rooting situations - technically if RNATB loses out and I win out, I’d win the division. But that’s unlikely. Furt is currently in the wildcard spot, so maybe it’s better for me if RNATB wins, but I have more competition than furt for the wildcard slot. It’s unclear who I even want to win. ---
