I think this is the biggest trade in the history of the league. I’m not finishing last this year. And, while I’m going to have a thin draft this year, I already have a bunch of younger players who are in a ‘prove it’ year for me. ---

It’s going to be insane if I end up trading away the #1 dynasty RB and #1 dynasty QB in consecutive years and somehow still manage to be competitive. But Saquon is the best running back prospect I’ve ever seen. I keep a spreadsheet ranking every rookie with a numerical grade, and Saquon has the highest grade over the last four years by a significant margin. This move was the culmination of three years of drafts and trades, and the next six to eight years of my team’s future will depend on him being as good as I think he will be. ---

Nope, I’ve been a cellar dweller for far too long in this league, I want to be competitive and have a shot at the playoffs. We’ve been working on this trade for over a month. I do have a few players on my roster that I expect to step it up this season. Barkley is a stud, but an additional stud RB isn’t helping me get into the playoffs this season. ---

Here’s the rookie pool worksheet I’m using. I wouldn’t normally post this, but I figured the new guys might benefit from something to look at. This is csv data. Copy and paste it into a text document in notepad and save it with a csv extension, then double-click it to open in excel or whatever. I would then save it as an excel spreadsheet so it will save your sorting options.
