I very nearly took Amaro. I need him more than I need Manziel, and given his draft position and opportunity he’d be a good value. I just didn’t like his game tape – didn’t play seem to play fast or get open or have great hands for a highly-touted receiving TE, and his combine numbers were nothing special. Plus I guess I don’t trust the Jets at all. ---

Once Rex gets fired it’s possible that a year from now his situation will be much better. His preseason tape sucks, but it’s the preseason…and he was productive at TTU, for whatever that’'s worth. ---

I was this close to picking Hill instead of Seferian-J., but having two Bengals RBs was a bit limiting in upside terms. ---

Note that Starks eats up your 4th Rounder, so your draft ends with Carey. Yep, my mistake, I forgot about the trades, just assumed you had picks in Rounds 1-3 instead of 3-5. It’s still all set up. (And Starks isn’t eating up your 4th, but rather your 6th.) ---
