If Stringer gets the pick in by tomorrow morning, that would mean it took us 10 days to finish the draft, including the first unofficial 24 hours where we had started but hadn’t started the 12-hour timers. That’s pretty sweet. I quite enjoy these in-thread drafts. Way more fun than a live draft, though it only works because we have so few picks to make. ---

I’m not very sanguine about his odds of producing immediately since the Pats’ offense is usually hyper-complicated. He’s also going to be very much a role player; he’s much too small to function as a traditional in-line TE (225 pounds or so), so he won’t be on the field that much. All the talking heads are saying he’ll fill the Hernandez role, but Hernandez had true TE size at 245 and could block. Wright isn’t even a good blocker by WR standards. In sum, there’s no way I’m wasting a redraft pick on him. Still, anyone catching passes from Brady is worth a flier in dynasty formats. ---
