Yep, I see it. For my own sake I hope you just made a great pick; Benjamin figures to be Cam Newton’s WR1 right out of the gate. (Ugh, do the Panthers have the crappiest receiving corps in the league? Is there any doubt?) I’m likely not to pick until morning since I’m in trade discussions, and we’ve made good progress today (phew). But we’ll see. And, of course, feel free to send me trade offers for the 12th pick. A couple of WRs have _really_ fallen further than expected, there’s good value here. ---

Oh sweet silly Hamlet. Patterson was off to a slow start but he was the #1 receiver in the last 5 weeks of the year. And his offensive coordinator is Norv “I used Josh Gordon for the entire offense, now I have a new toy” Turner. Let’s see what those numbers look like this year my feathered friend. ---

Before you make that pick! Two offers that stand until the guy I almost took at 2.1 is off the board. 1. Mike Wallace, straight up Wallace was the 27th best WR in the league last year, which means he will probably start for you. Firmly entrenched as Tannehill’s top target, and just turned 28 last month, which means he’ll be productive for another 5 years or so. 1. Andre Johnson, along with your #1 pick next year Did you know Andre Johnson was the #11 fantasy WR in the league last year? Yeah, yes, he’s a million years old … oh, wait, no he’s 33, and has the big body to continue being a posession reciever for the next five years. Football Outsiders projects him for 105-1283-7 this season. That’s a top-10 WR. Are you a contender? Do you want to be? I’m not – my team sucks on ice and will for awhile. The poor bastard is wasted on my roster. But if you are hoping to contend in the next 1-3 years, Johnson will do you more good than whatever lottery tickets you were hoping to buy in the second round. Both offers stand until the guy I’m eyeing is gone, after that we’ll have to talk. ---
