**xtisme** , **gonzomax** , I’m tired of seeing this from both of you. You need to remain civil while arguing with each other and take the other nonsense to the Pit where it belongs. I’m giving you both warnings for your posts in this thread. And **gonzomax** , several of your posts to **RecoveringRepublican** would have been more at home in the Pit as well.

While you may call yourself “a classical liberal” (you’re not the first SDMBer to do so), that’s clearly not the sense of the term the OP intends.

It would be unreasonable to restrict conservatives from commenting in this thread, but this is not the place to argue about the entire Democratic or Republican platform. It’s a discussion about who liberals would like to see nominated for president. My previous mod notes to you about inflammatory comments still apply.

The Dems only have Obama. There is no one else.
That puts them one up on the Republicans.

Either you should have been and the clerk was lazy, or your jurisdiction has remarkably loose procedures.

Only after making sure it would make money for his sponsors in Hartford, via the requirement that everyone buy their products. He made sure they wouldn’t have to face any competition first.

A few who were similarly compromised, and more who judged (rightly or not) that the bill would fail if it had one.
