Just a follow-up thought but tonight’s event could be the first time a presidential debate is not suitable for people under the age of 17. ---

I’m wondering if we’ll get some boos tonight when Trump walks in. And will Clinton really shake that hand? Given where it might’ve been? Jesus, the networks couldn’t have dreamed up a better scenario for an audience like this debate will get! ---

And I say it better than any of them! I’m the best at saying stuff like that. Oh wait… Actually, they’re doing him a favor by bringing it up first. Get it out of the way. Much worse to bring it up last, and end the debate on that note. ---

More likely than not, he’ll see the question as a personal attack and go nuts on the moderators. He probably hasn’t slept for 48 hours now. He’s tired, he’s worn out. He’s on the defensive even if this isn’t mentioned. This will ruminate in his head, he’ll be so focused on it that he’ll take every opportunity to speak as an opportunity to attack Hillary, and he’ll come off totally unprepared again. Trump isn’t even smart enough to skip this debate, schedule a few events with strong supporters present and weasel his way out of this there. ---

Eh, I would not have announced it as the lead subject. I’d have announced it **would** be brought up but then let him (and, more importantly, the audience) remain on tenterhooks waiting for it to drop. ---

I think Hillary should, and will, go into the debate with the experience and knowledge being… well, Hillary. Secretary of State. NY State Senator. And, upon need, express concern about his health. 😉 ---

You know that with the heads up Clinton got for the first question, her staff has some zingers prepared to toss at the Donald. Ought to be an interesting 10 minutes. I expect Trump to drink a glass of water before the second question is even asked. ---

I look for her to continue looking presidential, with all the policy details and qualifications and stuff. Let the “uncommitted” (yeah, right) civilians go after Trump directly. Plus, she’s much better one on one than making speeches or talking to cameras, so look for her to score big with that, the same way Bill did while GHWB was checking his watch. ---
