All of these are basically catchphrases from this board’s predecessor, the AOL Straight Dope Forum, back in the mid-1990’s. Like the current crop, none of them are amazingly funny in and of themselves; they’re just something a poster said that caught the attention of the board and ended up being endlessly repeated.
“many peoples ask me” - was the way one poster (who had language difficulties) used to begin his posts, as in “Many peoples ask me who was the great President in the United States? Who was he and what are you thinking?”
“as it relates to the tow truck industry” - A poster once asked a question like, “what do you think of the Iraqi insurgency as it relates to the tow truck industry?” I don’t remember what the actual subject was or whether he asked more than once, but the bizarre non-sequitor of the supposed topic of the question which was totally unrelated to tow trucks was so strange that other posters began adding it to the ends of their own posts.
“ketchup vs catsup” - A debate over the proper spelling of the word and whether there actually was a difference eventually became an in-joke. This was closely related to “ketchup vs mustard” in which people would assume exagerately partisan opinions on which was the superior condiment.
“a car full of hookers and blow” - In a thread about Christmas presents one poster jokingly said he wanted a car full of hookers and blow (cocaine, in case that slang term has become meaningless) waiting for him on Christmas morning. Again, not amazingly funny but it caught on for awhile.
As I said before, this was about ten years ago. I may have forgotten or falsely recalled some of the details. And I know that none of these probably sound real funny now. But imagine trying to explain why we thought “penis ensues” was a laugh riot to some poster in 2015. You had to be there.

Nothing exagerated about it. Ketchup people are communists bent on subverting the very warp and woof of the American Dream. That, and they smell funny.

It’s a misplaced dash, turning somebody you work with into somebody who molests bovines. Nobody’s really sure what “orking” is, but rest assured it can’t be good. I think it used to be in Dilbert a lot as well.

**Hail Ants** will tell you that this comes from a Simpsons episode where an ant gets loose in the Space Shuttle. It’s sitting right on the camera lens, appears to be giant, and forces Kent Brockman into a panicky assumption that giant ants from space are taking over the world. He then proclaims that he, for one, welcomes our new insect overlords.

Well, if you read enough Batman comics, eventually you see him accomplish pretty nearly any task… if he is allowed to prepare for it. In the Dark Knight serieses, for example, he kicks Superman’s ass.
He regularly came up with lists of how to take out all the other members of the JL, just in case they got mind-controlled or something. It usually involved elaborate preparation or special equipment. On several occasions, unscrupulous villains (heh… reduncant) got access to this information and, yep, shut down the JL. Except, of course, for Batman, who was able to fix things… if he was prepared…
