I’m so bowled over by the photos there that I’m not gonna try. (Admittedly, I don’t really want to go mucking with a third-party photo host, and probably wasn’t going to anyway, but this is another reason not to.) ---

I don’t have the slightest exception of actually winning, but it did make me feel warm & fuzzy to get some votes in the first round. And it’s fun to play along. ---

I do think this months subject is a bit of a challenge, because you can’t just go out and look for some interesting sky to photograph - you need something good to turn up. So in the end I (reluctantly) used an archive photo (as my shots this week of aircraft landing over me at Gatwick really weren’t that interesting in the end). j ---

Man, that was difficult. My mechanics of voting start with paring down to a shortlist. Even being as harsh as I could, I still had nearly half the photos on the shortlist. Crazy. j ---
