I was stopped somewhere once near some nice tall pines with the sun shining through them and tried to take some photos. The dynamic range was very challenging for getting a good shot, though. One of the things I tried was a feature on [Open Camera](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.sourceforge.opencamera&hl=en_US&gl=US) that tries to compute a single-shot HDR-like image. It usually fails. But at least this time it failed interestingly. [[Album] imgur.com ![](https://i.imgur.com/ipcMfn8.jpeg?fb "imgur.com") ](https://imgur.com/a/sozUFPq) ---

[![](https://i.imgur.com/t5HRsAX.jpg) ](https://i.imgur.com/t5HRsAX.jpg) I somehow got to leave work early this day- I can’t remember why. And this sort of zoo/farm place was otherwise never open when I wasn’t at work, so I grabbed my camera and jumped at the opportunity to practice. Of course, once I got there, it started pouring. This kid wasn’t letting it dampen her joy, though. ---
