Actually, since the spread was off apparently on yahoo, that’s pretty much the same as straight up, and oddly I didn’t pick Cleveland in that league, but 2 other people did. Huh. ---

Oh, you guys in the survival league… What eliminated most of the league? The Jags shitting the bed against Houston. What eliminated the last 2 players? The Jags shitting the bed against Houston. You should’ve learned to never trust Jacksonville to beat a bad team. So, Isotopes and “Not Out In Week 2 Again” tie for the win, both being eliminated this week. I’m going to make this big so that people skimming will notice: I WILL RESET THE SURVIVAL LEAGUE SO WE CAN ALL PLAY AGAIN - CHEC KTHE LEAGUE NEXT WEEK ---

Sorry, guys…I’ve missed a couple of picks in a row. I missed the first one (weekend before Halloween, I think) because I was crazy busy, and I’ve missed each since because my lease ran out and I had to move to a place with no Internet access. My roommate doesn’t go online, so I’m saving up to start service in my own name. Until then, I can only get online from school, and picking games is just not on my list of priorities when I do reach a computer. (Neither is Doping, which is why I haven’t been on in a couple of weeks.) Anyway, long story short, no more picking from me. It was fun, though. Maybe next year. ---

Random observations: I’m in 2nd place in all 3 groups. Something of an accomplishment, considering each of them is sort of a seperate game. I’M COMING FOR YOU TURTLE. Second: Yahoo holds a list of the top scorers on the pick 'em leagues all across yahoo [here](http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/pickem/publicgroup/all?). Apparently, the highest scorer in all of their many leagues only has 102 points, out of a possible 144 points. Obviously, that’s a good score - but you’d think, with the thousands of people playing yahoo, just by dumb luck, there’d be someone closer to perfect. Even more puzzling, on about half the weeks, not a single person got a perfect score for that week. Again, you’d expect if only by the number of people, someone would hit it. In another note, on week 5 I had a perfect score in the confidence league, and I deviated from that by one pick, a homer pick, in the straight up league. Had I not done that, and just stuck with my picks, I would be the only person on all of yahoo with a perfect straight up week that week. ---

Correction: I guess the leaderboard only applies to public groups, of which ours isn’t (I think) and therefore I wouldn’t have made the list - and indeed, if most people play in private groups, that would explain why the scores aren’t as high as I’d have guessed. ---

What the hell? As of 2 days ago, the top 3 scores in the confidence league were: 1 Transcontinental Tricycle 780 745 2 Fear the Turtle 781 739 3 meek is clearly insane 772 730 now they are 1 Fear the Turtle 781 781 2 Transcontinental Tricycle 780 780 3 meek is clearly insane 772 772 The dropped week thing stopped being calculated. I have no idea why - temporary glitch? I certainly didn’t change anything. The settings page still says drop 1 week. Hmm, same thing with the other leagues. Maybe it’s a yahoo-wide glitch. ---
