However, I’ll never forgive him for not standing up to being accused of being “card-carrying member of the ACLU”. Why he allowed that to be a negative and didn’t fight back was beyond me.

Because he’s a Democrat, and most Dem politicians are practically afraid of their own shadows. Their symbol shouldn’t be a donkey; it should be a scared rabbit.

I don’t disagree. I don’t understand why we can’t stand up and be loud and proud about who we are. I think it screwed us this election.
