I’m so glad the upgrade is included! I miss features that the modern version of vbulletin has soooo much, at last I’ll get to use them here. It seems to me there ought to be a way for the posts made over the weekend to not be lost, and instead be integrated into the separate board version you’re prepping on, though. Somehow. ---

Yay! I’ve been lurking around, waiting to make sure this change was ever going to happen. There are quite a few posts I want to get involved in, but there was no way I’d feel comfortable asking anyone to sponsor my membership. Anyways, I thought I’d join now, so I’ll be one of the first new Dopers. [/QUOTE] The first day there will be complaints about both the Google Search and from posters who posted over the weekend not realizing their posts will disappear. There will also be a smattering of complaints from posters that just renewed and don’t feel it is fair the SDMB keeps their money. ---
